William Jones, AIA, Principal and Owner of Dwelling Resources, graduated from the University of California at Berkel

ey with a degree in architecture in 1987. He decided to pursue his passion for architecture by learning how to build from the ground up, so he joined a San Francisco Bay Area design/build firm that specialized in high quality remodels and privately commissioned estates. After fifteen years of pounding nails, running jobs and administrating construction, Will decided to start his own company. He relocated to the heart of Sonoma County in 2000, and in 2004 Dwelling Resources was born.

William decided to focus his practice on the home. Why? Because that is where his passion lies. Not content with the bottom-line driven aspect of commercial construction, William believes that the heart of architecture lies within the dwelling, your sanctuary. Every project is unique to the needs of each client, and he finds joy in creating spaces that cause his clients to smile every time they come home.

As a Certified Green Builder, Dwelling Resources works with homeowners, contractors, and other design professionals to deliver elegant solutions of form and function. They are environmentally conscious and cost effective, but most of all they listen to you!
